MILEY CYRUS’ Life Turned Into Comic Book

Bluewater’s Productions is proud to announce a new comic book about the life of Miley Cyrus.

From Disney darling to shock pop princess, Miley Cyrus has enjoyed a bombastic career that crosses genres. A musician, singer, writer, and actress, Cyrus has become an icon to tweens searching for their identity and to teens who have grown up with their idol, the effervescent Hannah Montana.

Fame: Miley Cyrus will be released this week and will be available in both print and digital formats. The book, written by Michael L. Frizell and drawn by Juan Luis Rincón, will feature two covers: an alternate Patrick Nagel inspired cover by Nelson Hernandez and the regular edition by famed comic book artist Joey Mason.

“I wanted to do something different with this story. Miley is tabloid fodder, but why? Many childhood stars have remade themselves. Sadly, many female artists tend to go the ‘sex kitten’ route to prove they’re adults and worthy of a legit career. All musicians need to remake themselves to stay relevant. Christina Aguilera managed the transition successfully, but I think many people were expecting Miley to go the way of Brittney Spears and totally melt down in public. Thus, I thought it would be interesting to have the adult Miley confront her childhood and perhaps coax us to understand the reasoning behind her artistic choices. It remains to be seen whether she’ll be seen as more than a child star, despite her successful tours and album sales,” says writer, Michael L. Frizell.

“I liked the script by Michael L. Frizell very much. It’s very smart to make a kind version of A Christmas Carol with Miley Cyrus where the ghost of the past comes to visit her. It was amazing draw this boo,” said artist Juan Luis Rincón.

The book will also be released day and date in France. For the first time Bluewater is teaming up with the publisher Wetta. The book will be available in print at vipcomics.fr

“Bluewater has created a genre of its own with Fame that is cleverly targeting a different audience than the usual comic books readers, breakin’ away from the “geektatorate” canons to bring a concept much closer to what comic books should be for the public: fun, careless and entertaining,” said Wetta Publisher.

Print copies of the regular edition of Fame: Miley Cyrus can be ordered at Comic Flea Market here for $3.99: http://bit.ly/1o4tIjV, while the special edition collectible cover is also available for $9.99.
