My name is Aleksa Jankovic, I was born in Belgrade, Serbia. Currently residing in Malta for more than 4years.
I am drawing since early years of my childhood, self-taught without formal art education. From first comic I’ve seen, idea was to mimic and try to replicate illustrations from each panel as the story progressed, later on I was drawing my own stories from imagination. Not long ago, few years back I’ve decided to chase a carrier in professional illustrations and breaking into comic book industry. I like both European and Western cultures in comics. I grew up reading Italian comic books in Serbia, where stories are not superhero oriented as much like the ones coming from the west. I consider comic book conventions as a great way to meet people, have some laughs, create stories and opportunities. Professional comic book illustrator is a goal I want to achieve.
