Letio is the main character, accompanied by three other amusing characters that embark on an adventurous journey to rescue the princess of the magical kingdom of Krystalia. As some of you might know I rarely read Manga but was surprised how much I enjoyed reading this local publication with all its Manga expressions. Bernard Micallef is a Maltese Manga writer and an artist who in the first issue manages to deliver good characterisation of this simple story. Each chapter begins with a colourful page (wishing the entire book was in colour!) which leads to the meeting between the characters and to familiarise us with the introduced character. I found helpful the profiles of each character including notes on Bernard”s thoughts, progress and development of each individual. Keep up the great work Bernard, hoping for the next instalment at the Malta Comic Con 2011. You are an inspiration to the local Manga scene!
