Paul Cornell is an under-rated British writer who did not yet have his definitive moment in the world of comics. I have read and recommend his other work that he did on the “Wisdom” limited series and the “Captain Briatin and M I 13” series. The story is part of the Dark Reign events in the Marvel universe but this can be read on its own. As we can see through this limited series, with just a few words from the characters, he nails their personality perfectly. To top it all he gives us the return of a missed character from the 90″s. I also enjoyed the improvement done by artist Leonard Kirk, in his art chores. To embellish the comics we have covers by some great artists. I really wished to read a regular series that lasts longer by writer Paul Cornell and it seems DC comics just gave him the opportunity.
