Gaia Monteforte is an illustrator currently studying at the International School of Comics in Rome. She has a degree in Industrial Design and a certificate from the Liceo Artistico, Rome. Her most recent project is ‘Voodoo Dolls’, featuring daily images posted on social media based around a series of voodoo doll characters rendered in both digital and hand-made drawings. Taking an ironic and playful approach to the subject matter, Gaia is currently working towards making physical counterparts of her voodoo doll characters.
