Lynn is a freelance digital artist and illustrator from Malta with a dynamic background in technology and design, she is currently pursuing her passion as a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) in Digital Arts student at the esteemed University of Malta. She has been drawing ever since she can remember, finding inspiration from characters from various animated movies. As she grew older, she was introduced to Japanese animated films, such as those created by Hayao Miyazaki and other popular anime series. As a result, her drawing style started to evolve, with character illustrations having more manga-inspired features and proportions. This exposure made her passionate about Japanese culture and Japanese games such as Final Fantasy. She was mesmerised by how games could tell an interactive story through visual art, sound and the emotional connection with the characters they portrayed. Today she does commission work for award-winning Maltese authors and design work for local book publishers, such as – original character illustrations, book cover designs, bookmarks and promotional material. She also makes time for personal projects and ways to improve her art by following and learning from other international artists, sharing her work on social media and enrolling in different online courses. She hopes to share the artwork she has created with you and give a glimpse into how she sees the world.
