Northwest Comic Fest is kicking off the 2nd annual Northwest Comic Fest in Salem, Oregon August 13th and 14th, 2016. This year our focus is on the Comics, Artists, and Writers, the life blood of our Pop-Culture. Just as last year Northwest Comic Fest is more than simply Comic Con, with an emphasis on the physical aspects of pop-culture from performances, tutorials, panels, and more. Of course, we know the importance of gaming, crafts, and cosplay. In face we have ideas on how to make our cosplay competition stand out among the rest as well. Wait til you see what’s in store. We want to provide families, fans and soon-to-be-fans a place to come together and celebrate what they love. This isn’t a “Comic Con”; This is a celebration that truly defines what a “Comic/Pop/Geek-culture Fest” truly is.
The Event:
Our goal is provide a genuinely unique opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the things they love. We are offering live performances and demonstrations, guest panels, vendors and music.

The event schedule is as follows:
Fri, August 12th: 3PM – 8PM Vendor/Sponsor/Event Setup
Sat, August 13th: 10AM – 6PM (first floor), 10AM – 8PM (second floor)
Sun, August 14th: 10AM – 6PM (both floors)
The festival is located at the Salem Convention Center, in downtown Salem, Oregon. We are utilizing both the first and second floors of the center. There is ample lodging at the convention center as well as around.
On Saturday August 13th, the first floor of the convention will be closed at 6:00 PM, and the second floor of the convention will remain open until 8pm with some fantastic fun things planned and 2nd floor vendors will be able to remain open during this time.
The Benefits:
We will Utilize exposure to uniquely targeted customers at the event as well as through our numerous media campaigns. For example our event spawned the Northwest Comic Show (on youtube and Roku) in an effort to promote our event vendors, artists, and entertainers. The show has since grown into much more, promoting events and pop-culture all around the Northwest beyond our own, and also features occasional celebrity interviews.

Normally I don’t write detailed posts, but today I decided to share a small story about a win at a gambling site.
