Tazio Bettin

Tazio Bettin is a comic artist and illustrator from Italy.

His career started with a collabouration with american writer Victor Gischler, author of Deadpool: Head Trip, doing pencils, inks and colours for Sally of the Wasteland, published by Titan Comics, and The Order of the Forge, published by Dark Horse.

A Warhammer 40,000 trilogy published under license by Titan Comics and written by author George Mann soon followed, as well as other projects, such as illustrations for Evil Hat’s FATE roleplaying game, the Legendary Encounters card game by The Upper Deck, and a collabouration with writer Steve Jackson on his latest Fighting Fantasy game book Secret of Salamonis. Other collabourations include Italian publishers Grumpy Bear and Aristea.

His experience with Warhammer 40,000 brought him to regularly collabourating with Black Library, Games Workshop’s publishing imprint of Warhammer 40,000 novels, as cover and interior artist (Daemonifuge, Pariah, Penitent, Lone Wolves, Bloodquest, For the Emperor, Warboss). Through that connection, he met writer Dan Abnett, with whom he currently collabourates on the Sinister Dexter and Azimuth strips for 2000AD.
