Tony Dyson

Tony Dyson was charged with building the first R2-D2 ever and has had an illustrious career with robotics ever since. In addition to working on more films, he has also built robots for companies including Philips, Toshiba and Sony.

Tony is also an Emmy nominated independent special effect supervisor, who has worked on blockbuster films such as Moonraker (James Bond) Superman 2, Saturn 3, Dragonslayer and Altered States, plus SFX adviser for pop groups such as The Who, Pink Freud and Tubular Bells.

He continues to work on futuristic projects such as the largest Robot database in the world at Robotworld and publishing next year on kindle, 21 amazing robots.
