An Introduction to the World of Comic Book Art Level 2 is a course provided by Graphic Novels Library Malta in collaboration with Malta Libraries which aims to provide a creative experience with two overarching goals; to create a holistic approach to comic book making, taught by people well seasoned in the local comic and illustration sphere, and to encourage new creators looking for the foundations to create their own production. This roster of specialists will aim to provide a platform for aspiring creators, and lovers of the comic genre above the age of 16 within a span of nine workshop/discussion sessions.

Following last year’s resounding success of An Introduction to the World of Comic Book Art, GNLM and Malta Libraries are looking forward to provide a more advanced level for audiences from 16 and over. The course will take place at the Central Public Library, Floriana on every Saturday between 6th July and 31st August between 10:30am-12:30pm.
By the end of the course, the participants will be given a three week timeframe to create a short comic of their own, which will be compiled as a limited published anthology book .
