Valentina “Val” Sannais (Howling Art) is an illustrator, comic artist and tattoo apprentice, sometimes event organiser, most definitely a full time dreamer. She’s currently based in Italy with her puppy demon dog, Maki 🐶
Her body of work include illustrations for book covers and interiors, zines and RPG games, most notably a series of periodical designs and illustrations done for LEGO, the two-part novel series “Contos” by L. Loi , “La Grotta della Vipera” by C. Murtas, and the covers for the series “The Nightbringer” by C. Ramion.
In the comic books field her first published book “Knockout” was printed back in 2016 under the creative collaboration SkyWolf; other titles include the small personal project “Pet Sitting Poncho”, “Starfall” by Adam Blackhat, “Il Portale dell’Infinito” by S. Cuna, “NOCTILUCA” by S. White to be released soon and more she can’t reveal yet (please look forward to a big project coming in 2025!!)
She recently started a new journey as a tattoo artist, teaming up with her friend and colleague Lollo (coltellow in most social media) as the duo “2INKS”.
