Julian has been an actor for over 30 years and has worked extensively in Theatr, Film, Television and Radio.
Film work includes the Clint Eastwood directed movie Invictus, Justice Leage, Zero Dark Thirty, The Bank Job, Mr Jones, The Eagle , The Feast, Madfabulous, Black Church Bay, On the Sea, Protien, Love Spreads, The Rebels, Under the Wire, The Head Hunter, Under Milk Wood, Elfie Hopkins, I’ll Be There, Arthur’s Dyke , Solomon and Gaynor , Jungle Cry, Branwen and Y Weithred.
Television work includes the recent critically acclaimed BBC Series “The Guest” as well as roles in Dope Girls, Call the Midwife, The Wheel of Time , House of The Dragon (as Boremund Baratheon) Stella (as Karl Morris) The Tuckers, Foyle’s War Midsommer Murders, Hinterland, Torchwood, Seriel Thriller , Bregus, Jamie Johnson, River, The Assests , Casualty, Where The Heart is, Ambassador, Life of Crime, Spooks, Identity, The Tudors, The Bill, Jekyll, Holby City, Soldier Soldier, The Bench, The Story of Tracey Beaker, Caerdydd and Doctors.
Julian was most recently seen as Osian Northam in the Sky Atlantic Series “Under the Salt Marsh” opposite Kelly Reilly and Flintshire native Jonathan Pryce. He will be seen next in the Ruth Jones/ Steve Speirs BBC Comedy Series “Better Later” as well as BBC Drama “Old Town Murders” He is a passionate Rugby supporter and an accomplished fisherman who has produced and presented numerous fishing programmes.
