A God Somewhere (Tpb)

The reason that this graphic novel has been rated for mature readers is due to the depicted harsh violent images and adult situations. These detailed images posed by Danish artist Peter Snejbjerg are not without a reason. John Arcudi”s story explores the human situation in a real world when one is given superhuman abilities. Without unveiling too much of the story, Eric, the main character, at first becomes a hero but all this gained power tends to affect his mind. This leads into distancing and isolating himself from friends and family and ultimately leading to tragic consequences. Colourist Bjarne Hansen renders idyllically the colourful shades of each situation. There is no superpower explanation but a study of human characters. A very interesting, highly recommended book! With great power comes… Read it and you will know the answer.
