Cyprus Comic Con

Cyprus Comic Con (CCC) is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to celebrating and promoting the appreciation of popular culture in Cyprus. Since its founding in 2012, CCC has grown into a diverse and inclusive platform for artistic expression, creativity, technology, science, and imagination.

History

Cyprus Comic Con debuted in 2014 with a one-day event at the European University of Nicosia, attracting around 4,000 enthusiasts. Its resounding success sparked exponential growth, with subsequent events welcoming over 20,000 visitors annually. Since 2017, the convention has been held at the Cyprus State Fair, utilizing over 10,000 sqm of space and solidifying its place as a premier event in Cyprus as well as the wider region.

In 2024, CCC hosted its largest event to date, featuring:

  • Over 22,000 attendees from Cyprus and abroad
  • More than 300 participants, exhibitors, and entertainers
  • Over 100 booth holders and 100 independent artists
  • A record production cost exceeding €350,000

In 2025, CCC will expand into a three-day event from October 3rd to 5th at the Cyprus State Fair opening as an outdoor festival on Friday afternoon with live music (including ЯeaL – Cyprus’ first live Japanese rock band experience), pro wrestling, food, drink and other activities and progressing into the two usual full convention days on Saturday and Sunday from morning all the way through to midnight. CCC is also exploring the possibility of hosting a second full-scale convention in May 2026, alongside the usual mall events throughout the year.

Our mission is to champion all manner of creative expression and to foster a sense of community and belonging no matter the hobby, interest, subgenre or subculture.

Ultimately – to bring like-minded people together and defeat aloneness.
