John Paul Muscat (b.1995) has been an Art and Maltese literature lover since childhood, eventually, devoting most of his teenage and early adulthood years to drawing, painting and reading.
In 2015, he exhibited a collection of paintings in a local Art Exhibition, ‘Arti, Delizzji, u Snajja’ organised by the Naxxar Local Council.
In 2016, he displayed a collection of paintings in ‘Portraits and Figures’, an Art Exhibition at the University of Malta held by the University of Malta Department of Media and Communications.
In 2016, he also took part in a Visual Arts Exhibition as part of the Symposium entitled, ‘Mercy Towards Immigrants: Theology and Society in Dialogue’, organised by The Faculty of Theology, University of Malta in Villa Francia, in Ħal Lija, Malta.
In 2017, he was one of the seven B.Ed (Hons.) students majoring in Art setting up a collective Art Exhibition, ‘SPEKTRUM’, held at the Malta Maritime Museum, Birgu, curated by Prof. Raphael Vella.
In 2017, he graduated with a Bachelor of Education (Hons.) degree with Art and Maltese from the University of Malta. Currently, he is a full-time Art Peripatetic Teacher within the Education Department and Part-Time Educator at the Malta School of Art, Valletta.
In 2019, he worked on an installation exhibited at ‘Perception: postscripts’ – a Malta Society of Arts Members Exhibition.
John Paul has just finished embellishing his own Art Studio. Lately he has been experimenting with different artistic mediums and trying to find innovative ways to incorporate them into his Art Lessons.
