Born in 1994, Lorenzo Scipioni is a comic book artist and illustrator with a deep passion for cinema. In 2016, he joined the publishing house Hyppostyle, publishing two volumes of the dystopian-steampunk series “Blackbox,” conceived and written by Giuseppe Grossi, released in 2017 and 2018 respectively. In 2019, he began collaborating with Edizioni NPE, and from this partnership, “Hidden in the Woods” was released in 2022, a comic book adaptation of the film of the same name by Patricio Valladares, written by Andrea Cavaletto, who also edited the art and the adaptation. He recently collaborated with Sergio Bonelli Editore, which is due out soon. A new adaptation of a Valladares film, “Downhill”, is also due out soon for NPE. In his spare time, he indulges his love of films by writing reviews or simply paying homage to them with illustrations.
