Further to the popular Malta Comic Con Cosplay competitions, Wicked Comics are proud to announce the launch of a new (FREE) cosplay award titled the MCC 2016 Facebook Cosplay Award. Participation is easy; just email us a photo of yourself in cosplay along with your name, character and the photographer’s name (optional) on cosplay@maltacomic-con.com
If the entry get’s accepted, the photo will be uploaded in an album together with the other competing photos on the Malta Comic Con Cosplay page https://www.facebook.com/maltacomicconcosplay/. The competition will launch as soon as the first photos are uploaded so participants are encouraged to submit their entries early and will close on Wednesday 30th November 2016. The 3 photos which receive the most Likes at the end of this period will be selected as finalist and the winner will be decided by the cosplay judging panel during the first day of the Malta Comic Con 2016 (3rd December).
There is no need for the costume to be a new one, this can be another opportunity for costumes worn in past Malta Comic Con editions that either did not take part in or won the competition. The choice is yours! Anyone can press like, but only those attending the Malta Comic Con 2016 can take part.
Rules:
1) An entry can only be submitted by the participating candidate.
2) Each candidate can only submit one entry.
3) Winning costumes of past Malta Comic Con/Mini Comic Con cosplay competitions are not eligible.
4) Participants must attend the Malta Comic Con 2016.
5) Submissions made on any other email account except for the one specified above will not be validated.
6) Wicked Comics reserves the right to refuse entries of photos taken during other events not organised by Wicked Comics or affiliated parties.
