Peter Magro is a Maltese illustrator, storyteller, and art educator born in 1990. He pursued this artistic area academically, earning a degree in art education and a master’s in digital art, and has since taught art at all levels, and currently teaches post-secondary art.
He first entered the local comic scene in 2015 with S.T.E.A.M.: Island Under Siege, a collaborative graphic novel with writer Ashley Eric Peschel. This debut led to further projects.
In 2022, Peter launched Energy Quest, his first solo project as both writer and illustrator. The series has since grown to four issues, with its fifth issue due to release at this year’s Malta Comic Con.
Beyond comics, Peter is also a fine artist, working in both traditional and digital media.
