Anton Marks

Anton Marks is a London-based speculative fiction author and the visionary behind Urban Fantastic—his signature genre that fuses crime, action-adventure, horror, sword & soul, and science fiction into stories that spotlight the Black experience through the lens of the extraordinary.

To date, Anton has published 15 books on Amazon Kindle, including Dancehall, Bad II the Bone, In the Days of Dread, Bushman, 69, and a range of shorter speculative works such as Messiah, Chauffeur, Omega Point, and Pest Control.

In 2017, he broke new ground with Joshua N’Gon: The Last Prince of Alkebulahn—a YA sci-fi/fantasy novel that gave a generation of readers the young Black hero they’d been waiting for. The sequel, Joshua N’Gon and the Battle for St. Augustine, arrived in 2020, with the third installment, Joshua N’Gon and the Trial on Gorilla Mountain, slated for 2026.

Meanwhile, his supernatural thriller series Bad II the Bone began with Bad II the Bone (2016), continued with Good II Be Bad (2019), and expanded with Good Girls Gone Bad (2022). In 2025, Anton released Headhunters, a supernatural thriller set in the same darkly compelling universe.

Across his career, Anton has built a reputation for bold, unflinching storytelling that blends the familiar with the fantastic—giving readers fast-paced narratives, culturally rich characters, and immersive worlds where the stakes are as personal as they are cosmic. With so many stories still to tell, Anton’s mission is clear: to take readers on unforgettable journeys where imagination, culture, and adventure collide.
