Anton Marks is a London-based, self-published author of Jamaican heritage and the architect of Urban Fantastic — a speculative fiction brand that feeds crime, action adventure, horror, fantasy, and sci-fi through a single lens: the Black experience and the extraordinary. Fifteen books deep in the Amazon Kindle store, his catalogue spans Dancehall, Bad II the Bone, In the Days of Dread, Bushman and 69, alongside shorter speculative work including Messiah, Chauffeur, Omega Point and Pest Control. In 2017, writing as Anthony Hewitt, he published Joshua N’Gon: The Last Prince of Alkebulahn — a YA sci-fi/fantasy novel aimed squarely at a market starved of young Black heroes. Joshua N’Gon and the Battle for St. Augustine followed in 2020, and the third instalment, Joshua N’Gon and the Trial on Gorilla Mountain, arrives in 2026. The supernatural side of his work has grown in parallel. Bad II the Bone (2013), Good II be Bad (2019) and Good Girls Gone Bad (2022) carried the Bad II the Bone series forward, the sci-fi thriller Pest Control landed in 2021, and Headhunters (2025) opened up the same universe from a new angle. The Last Stop, another short work set in that world, drops in December 2026, with book four in The Bad II the Bone series — The Good, the Bad and the Undead — due late 2027. So many stories to tell, and Anton wants to share every one of them.
