Luke Bonett is a Maltese artist primarily focused on illustration and animation. He’s always loved the idea of creating unique characters and worlds from imagination, and has since followed that creative exploration throughout the years. Continuing his studies in digital art, he recently graduated with a BFA in Digital Arts at the University of Malta, and is looking towards pursuing a career in 2D illustration and animation.
Luke’s interests in art include illustrating fantasy creatures and landscapes, where he mainly works in a digital medium but also enjoys creating using traditional media, such as ink pens and watercolour. Aside from creating art, he enjoys hiking in nature, taking photos, brainstorming music ideas and playing video games, such as roguelikes, RPGs and sandbox survival games. With his work, he aims to explore unique interpretations to our surroundings, highlighting the expressive nature of characters and environments through unspoken language.
