Autumn 2019 will see the launch of Worlds End • Volume 2 • A Hard Reign’s Gonna Fall by returning guest, artist and writer Tim Perkins. The exclusive launch will take place during the weekend of the Malta Comic Con 2019 held between the 2nd and 3rd November at the MFCC Ta’ Qali.
The launch will be followed by a Question and Answer question with Tim Perkins moderated by Wicked Comics organizer Samantha Abela. During this event, the creative process behind this sequel to the Worlds End “Science Fusion” series will be discussed. Fans will have the opportunity to have their books signed and remarked. A limited amount of books will be available during the Malta Comic Con 2019. Bookings are highly recommended.
Tim Perkins has 10 editions of the Malta Comic Con already under his belt. He is an award winning comic illustrator and writer based in England and has worked for over 30 years on comics as diverse as Dark Dominion, Transformers, Thundercats, Doctor Who, Judge Dredd, Dreamstone, Earthworm Jim, and Hot Wheels for Marvel, DC, 2000AD, Defiant, and Tekno, amongst a great many others. He also works as a concept artist, designer and writer in the worlds of themed rides and attractions and in animation, as well as lecturing about comics, storytelling and creativity.

Other foreign creators present during the Malta Comic Con 2019 are: Benjamin Dickson (UK), Chryssv (Cyprus) and Ellen Stubbings (UK).
Benjamin Dickson is the writer and artist of the acclaimed post-war British graphic novel A New Jerusalem. He is also the writer of the action-comedy Santa Claus vs the Nazis and Fight the Power! A Visual History of Protest Among the English-Speaking Peoples. He has also written for Self Made Hero, Accent UK, Heavy Metal Magazine and Aces Weekly, and is currently working on a biography of Neville Chamberlain.

Chryssv is a self taught digital artist, specializing in character illustration. As a full time job she works as a Graphic Designer and as a Digital Illustrator part time. She sells her work online, through commissions and visiting conventions. Her work is very much influenced by both western and eastern media.

Ellen Stubbings is an illustrator, comic creator and all round cute thing maker! She graduated from the University of Lincoln with first class honours in Illustration in 2013, and currently lives in York, UK. Often kept company by her large cat, Ellen spends the majority of her time working on adorable projects. She has illustrated various children’s books for publishers such as Odd Dot and Little Simon, and also enjoys creating comic strips about her everyday life. For conventions and her online store, Ellen designs and makes a wide range of super cute products, including pins, greeting cards, t-shirts and stationery.

Various local artists will join us for this weekend were we celebrate Pop Culture on the island! These include: Bernard Micallef, a true veteran of the Malta Comic Con since its earliest editions; Peter Magro has a very established following and experience with workshops; he is also the illustrator behind the local graphic novel S.T.E.A.M. : Island Under Siege (2015); Gabriel Borg, a regular at the Malta Comic Con whose specialization is digital art; Ryan Zammit Pawley is known for his artistic rendition of popular Television characters and is also a regular exhibitor at the Malta Comic Con and Jonathan Shaller, a video game artist with a passion for 3D printing of quirky accessories. They will be joined by newcomers: Josmar Darmanin, John Paul Muscat and Erica Mallia.
